Amye Green

 A native New Mexican, Amye G. Green graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a distinction of summa cum laude in 2009 and then from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law with a distinction of magna cum laude in 2012, where she served as a member of Law Review and was a semi-finalist and follow up best brief writer at the 2012 National First Amendment Moot Court Competition. She returned to New Mexico in 2013, where she practiced general litigation, insurance defense, negligence, torts, personal injury, civil rights, employment law, medical malpractice, products liability, and insurance bad faith.

 Amye is the recipient of several awards, including the Crowe Scholar Award, the Joseph V. Bologna Award, and the Alumni Association Graduation Award. She also has specialized legal research experience as a result of her year working with LexisNexis. As part of her education, she also interned with the Honorable Stan Whitaker. She has volunteered with the “Know Your Rights” Immigration Detention Program, which seeks to provide legal aid to indigent detainees. In 2011, she worked with the Louisiana Board of Private Investigator Examiners on revisions to the LSBPIE Basic Training Manual, and was the drafter of the Constitutional Law section of this manual, which is used to train private investigators throughout Louisiana. Amye is licensed in both Louisiana and New Mexico.
